Welcome to Hotel Paris Belleville
Hotel Paris Belleville stands as a modest option nestled in the vibrant 10th arrondissement of Paris, located at 21 Rue Vicq d'Azir. This budget-friendly hotel appeals especially to travelers prioritizing location and affordability over luxury. Situated close to the metro, it offers easy access to the city’s iconic landmarks and the hip waterfront eateries along Canal Saint-Martin, making it a fitting base for explorers eager to immerse themselves in the local Parisian culture.
The hotel is noted for its friendly and helpful staff, a highlight frequently mentioned by guests and a comforting factor for solo travelers or those new to the city. Rooms here are undeniably small, with mixed reviews on cleanliness and comfort. Some guests report freshly renovated bathrooms and clean spaces, though others describe the rooms as cramped and lacking in warmth or modern amenities. The absence of an elevator, parking, and additional services such as airport shuttle or pet-friendliness mark it clearly as a no-frills accommodation.
Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available, ensuring basic connectivity and comfort in the summer months. Its smoke-free policy adds to the appeal for health-conscious visitors. Despite its limited amenities, the hotel's strategic location near Saint-Louis Hospital and the flourishing local scene around Canal Saint-Martin provides guests with rich cultural engagement and dining experiences just steps away.
Reflecting on the mixed impressions, Hotel Paris Belleville may not satisfy those seeking spacious, luxurious lodgings or high-end conveniences. Yet, it promises a genuinely Parisian stay defined by its accessibility and unpretentious charm. Ideal for budget-conscious tourists who value a clean, centrally located room and goodwill from the staff, this hotel embodies the spirited and emerging character of its neighborhood rather than the polished gloss of traditional Parisian hospitality.
In sum, Hotel Paris Belleville offers a functional, no-nonsense place to rest after days packed with sightseeing. It’s a reminder that in Paris, location and local color often outweigh the need for opulence. Those willing to embrace its simplicity may find a surprisingly rewarding experience in this humble yet strategically positioned hotel.

Affordable hotel and close to the metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However the room was tiny but enough for one person.
Location is great! But rooms are too small and dirty. Hotel is nice for tourists who don't worry about lack of extra comfort.
Room clean and tidy. Bathroom clean, after renovation. The only minus, quite cold in the room and only a blanket available. The rest is a plus :) Very good location.
This hotel is a five star piece of art. The rooms were the cleanest things I’ve ever stayed in and the bathroom was exceptional. The bed sheets were extravagant and clean and super comfortable I loved sleeping in them. Make sure to stay here if you travel to Paris as this hotel should be priced at around 2000 a night!
I stayed here for 9 nights in February 2020 in one of the rooms with en suite bathroom. Everything was better than expected, room cleaned everyday except Sunday (not a problem with me). Multiple power outlets in a room that was on the 6th floor, no elevator... if this is an issue for you maybe let them know you have mobility challenges etc and prefer 1st floor... for me it was great and even provided a bit of a view of the Eiffel Tower. The bedding and towels all smelled sanitary and sterile. The radiator worked very well, I’d wake up sweaty if I forgot it too high before bed. The staff were very patient with my clumsy French and knew enough English that we made it work well. Aside from enjoying the stay at the hotel the area is decent as well... amazing Asian restaurants close by as well as pizza, sushi, vegan, etc. There is also a Lidl about 3 mins walk away so if you want to skip the restaurants you can pick up some non perishables, etc. Close to the metros and by Bellevue there was a great market to wander around in. Overall I have no complaints and will definitely stay here the next time in Paris.... not just for how great a deal it is but also because of its location to the known attractions. I would highly recommend this for any traveler on a budget who wants the privacy a hostel doesn’t afford.
